I made a few changes, and hopefully this site plays well with RSS readers now. Let me know if it doesn’t work for you.

Puppets and What Not

Why do I love my friends? Because I love puppets. Why does that make me love my friends? Because they made me into a puppet for my birthday. Check it out! They didn’t have a curly hair option, but I think the likeness is pretty damn close.

It’s amazing science article time! Today we’re focusing on energy and electricity. Enjoy:

The Dark Side of the Moon is one of my favorite albums, and here’s a neat clip of the recording sessions of “Money.” I watched this entire documentary and recommend it if you’re a Floyd fan.

Go watch Studio Ghibli’s Ponyo if you haven’t seen it yet. It’s full of heart, it’s ridiculously adorable, and has some incredibly magical ocean sequences. I haven’t seen the English dubbed version, but I hear the voicework isn’t that bad.

Wii Sports Resort has been providing a bunch of fun around here lately, and breaths some new life into the system (which needed a dusting off). The speed slice mode of sword fighting is the definitive favorite amongst us all.

I’m also hooked to Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, charging through puzzles and brain teasers before bed. Level 5 is quickly rising to become one of my favorite game companies, and I’m anxiously awaiting their collaboration with Studio Ghibli on The Another World.

Speaking of games, I’ve begun work on the next iPhone game and development is progressing smoothly. This time I’m collaborating with Phil Craven (head of story on Kung Fu Panda 2 at Dreamworks / amazing artist / friend). It’s much larger (figuratively and literally) in scope and a throwback to the Super Nintendo era in graphics, sound and cheese factor. I’d like to reveal some tidbits during development without giving too many spoilers away, so stay tuned… one thing I can promise is relentless fun!
